On October 25, 2007, the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation (SCI) released its report on the business practices of several public universities and four-year colleges, including Rutgers.

Rutgers is carefully reviewing the SCI findings and recommendations in detail. The university is committed to managing public resources wisely and accountably and to maintaining a system of responsible governance that protects Rutgers from undue political influence.
