Researchers from Rutgers and the Republic of Korea will work together to study issues confronting cities around the world following the signing of an agreement last month. On Sept. 22, representatives of the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies at Rutgers–Newark and the Seoul Development Institute signed a memorandum of understanding that will facilitate the exchange of information and of researchers, as well as encourage joint investigations by the two groups. The Cornwall Center studies challenges facing metropolitan regions and informs the public about new initiatives to tackle them. It also supports urban neighborhood revitalization through community outreach programs.
