A partnership of Rutgers students, health care professionals and communication researchers that is working to change perceptions about dangerous drinking on campus has been named one of six model programs nationwide by the U.S. Department of Education's Safe and Drug Free Schools Program. The distinction comes with a $90,000 grant that will be used to continue a research and communication campaign called "RU Sure?" The goal is to inform students that it is not necessary to drink excessively to be accepted into the Rutgers community.
