News Governor hosts summit at Rutgers Archived article from Mar 20, 2006

Credit: Cortney Burke Gov. Jon S. Corzine addresses a variety of special interest groups at an all-day “budget summit” held March 6 at the Rutgers Student Center in New Brunswick. The session drew together New Jersey business leaders, policy-makers, economists and others in an effort to foster discussion, dialogue and understanding about the state’s multibillion-dollar budget crisis. Corzine is scheduled to lay out his budget proposal March 21, and lawmakers will have until July 1 to finalize a spending plan.
