Andy Zazzera didn’t just get an education in computer graphics and animation at Rutgers—he got the chance to become part of a lively, close-knit group of creative artists seeking to make it in the thriving animation industry. “The art teachers and students at Rutgers are an amazing bunch of people,” says Andy. “I’ve never had an art class I didn’t enjoy.”
In particular, Andy cites the help provided by artist LiQin Tan, his animation professor, whom Andy describes as “both a great inspiration and a trusted adviser.” After an intensive digital character animation program at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Andy plans to head to Hollywood, where he “hopes to land a job working in the movies, and eventually start an animation studio” with his Rutgers cohorts.
